Photograph of the Great Mosque of Cordoba layered with another of silk panels. The panels added the vibrant colors which recall the prominent place Cordoba and all of Andalucia had during the Middle Ages. Science, culture and the arts flourished in a society in which the Islam, Christianity and Judaism coexisted relatively peacefully.
